GOVERNMENT HOUSE,
HONGKONG. 31st March, 1921.
I have the honour to report that I have
granted Sub-Inspector Alfred Floyd, Hongkong Police Force,
a pension at the rate of £150 per annum with effect from the 20th August, 1921, and that the Crown Agents for the
Colonies have been instructed to issue payments to him as
they become due.
I have also granted him prior to his retire-
ment from the service five months' leave of absence on full
pay to commence on the 20th March, 1921. The usual leave
certificate is enclosed.
The following note has been added to the
pension papers:-
In the event of the revised scheme of pensions now under
consideration coming into force the pension payable to
Sub-Inspector Alfred Floyd will be calculated according to that scheme, provided that the sum total of pension so assessed shall not be less than that provided under the existing rules.
